WHAT: American Clay Enterprises will host a press conference about their energy savings experiment, at the GREENBUILD International Conference & Expo. The reasons, the procedure, the science used and the results-to-date will be presented, with handouts, by American Clay CEO and co-Founder Croft Elsaesser. Last year at Greenbuild 2008, American Clay launched a yearlong experiment whereby they created multiple testing units to gather information about the energy savings, and therefore potential monetary savings, which customers of American Clay have reported in their remodeled homes.
They have also just launched a foray into China, and will discuss that as well.
The first U.S. based, U.S. made earth plaster finish, American Clay has the lowest carbon footprint per pound of any commercially produced wall finish.
